I've been forcusing on the working poor people who are not African American.
But there are still African American people who have problem to get a job.
So, we should add an African American young boy who doesn't have college education.
Here's another article from The New Yourk Times.
There are lots of young poeple who don't have degrees having problems to get a better job and keep it. Also, even if they have degrees, the economy is not good so they can't get better jobs.

Also, here's the article from San Francisco Chrinicle.
It's interesting because it is about Japan.

Outline: In America, there are considerable amounts of people who can't get enough money to maintain a healthy standard of living, even though they work hard. However, there are myths that working poor people don’t work hard, they are minorities and so on. Here are the facts about the working poor.

Characters:
Jenny: White woman, who’s going to reach 30 soon
John: White man, 38 years old, who has a wife and 2 children
Sandra: Hispanic woman, 26 years old
Tyrone: African-American man who is an unemployment agency worker
Ken: Asian boy who just started living by himself
Erin: NGO’s worker who does research and support the working poor people
George: politicians who believes America is not poor

Jenny: “I’m working in a company as a full fledged employee. I work every day until late, I think I'm a diligent worker, and have the right to have a decent life. However, my income is not enough to cover all the expenses. After I pay the rent and pay for medical insurance and everything, I have almost nothing in the bank. I struggle every month. I can't save money for the future, which worries me a lot.”

John: “I have a full-time job and work very hard everyday. But I’m still not getting enough money to feed my family. I have a wife and kids. We have to spend money on food and gas everyday, and we need money for our kids to go to school. Moreover I have to pay off a home loan. I know that we have to get health insurance, but there's no money left for it. I'm worried that if we got seriously ill or something, but there's nothing I can do because I work as hard as I can, and my wife is too busy to work because we have to take care of our children.”

Sandra: “I am a regular employee in a bank. Even though my parents are Mexican and I came from the area where many poor immigrants live, I graduated from university with good marks and got a good job, working diligently, so I can get enough money to live comfortably. These people who complain that they are not getting enough money are either single parents or actually not working enough.”

Tyrone: “I’m making arrangement for unemployed people everyday. I help find jobs for people who are having trouble finding employment. But these days, it’s harder to find higher income jobs in America. Also, a lot of people don’t have enough skills required for those higher income positions, so we would like to offer opportunities to train for new job skills.”

Erin:A market economy is efficient, but it is not just. Because wages are determined by the law of scarcity, some people cannot earn enough money to live a decent life. Some people can't go to school or medication because they don't have the money. These people should get more welfare services. The American government should enable all of us to get the education and health care equally like Swedish government does.

George: Well the North europian countries such as Sweden seem like they have very good welfare systems on the surface. However, the truth is that, The Swedish nation can't get proper health care and such because of the luck of money. You would rather get the services that you are getting now by paying. The people in countries with generous welfare systems are paying for the services by taxes anyway.
People are complaining that thay are not getting standard. America is one of the richiest countries in the world, the nation is living high above of the world standard. You can't say there's poverty in the U.S. if you see the real poverty in some developing countries. People should be happy about what they already have ,rather than wanting more.

Skit

In America, There's a considering number of people who can't get enough money to have the standard of living even though they work hard.

A(Hispanic young woman):I am a reguler employee in a bank. Even though my parents are mexican and I came from the area where many poor immigrants live, I graduated from univercity with good marks and got a good job, working dilligently , so I can get enough money to live comfortbaly. These peple who complain that they are not getting anough money are either single parents or actually not working enogh.

B(White woman, who's going to reach 30 soon.):I'm working in a company as a full flegded employee. I work every day untill late , I think I'm a dilligent worker , and have the right to have a decent life.HOwever, my income is not enough to cover all the expenses. After I pay the rent and pay for medical insuarance and everything , I have almost nothing in the bank. I struggle every month. I can't save mony for future, which worries me a lot.

C(guy):I have a Full-time job and work very hard, but still not getting enogh money to feed my familiy. I have a wife and kids. We have to spend money on food and petrol everyday, and need money for the school for our kids, plus I have to pay off a home loan. I know that we have to get health insuarance, but There's no money left for it. I'm worried that if we got seriously ill or something, but there's nothing I can do because I work as hard as I can, and my wife is too busy to have a job because we have a litte baby.

D(young guy):I started living away from my parents recently , to be independent. I have a part time job , an work almost everyday . I still get money from my parents, which is embarrasing but ther's no way that I can live without it because I'm just a part timer.I want to work as a reguler worker, but I don't have any skill so there's no place where they'd hire me. I can get a job that I don't wanna do, but that's not the life that I wanna lead.

E(Employer of a company): Some of the workers in the company are complaining that they are not getting the money that they deserve. But there's nothing I can do about it, because that's the system of this country. If they wanna earn as much as I do, then start their own businness and do what I do. I made this company from the scratch , and made it succesful. I took risks, and got the reward.
